After about a month’s warm temperature, winter comes back to the prairie. Edmonton got about 5cm snowfall the previous night, followed by an Arctic cold front. The temperature dropped to below -20 degree celsius even during daylight hours. With the new snowfall, the scenery is no longer spring-like. Plus, it’s a good time to practice hiking in such a cold temperature. Terwillegar Park, located 15min’s drive from home, is a popular off-leash dog park. So we did see lots of puppies, despite the extreme temperature.
